Arrange tabletop panels and use keyboard movement
Move character, initiative and dice panels by their headers, and use keyboard controls to keep the tabletop readable on your device.
Arrange the scene around the encounter
Floating panels let you keep a character sheet, initiative or dice close to the relevant part of the map. Drag a panel by its header. Its content remains available for scrolling and interaction rather than becoming one large draggable surface.
Move and reset with the keyboard
Focus the panel’s movement grip and use arrow keys to move it. Home resets placement. Positions are constrained to the visible viewport and saved as a device preference, not as a campaign change that rearranges everyone else’s screen.
This is useful when moving between a laptop and a larger display, or when a panel covers an important token. Resetting placement is preferable to changing game data to recover a hidden control.
Respect small screens and motion preferences
Panel bodies can scroll while essential controls stay reachable. Opening motion uses opacity so it does not fight with a panel’s position. The music dock has its own placement and visibility safeguards. If you prefer less animation, use the available motion settings and your device’s reduced-motion preference. A comfortable layout should help you read and act, not require constant rearrangement.
Quick steps
- Open the panel you need.
- Drag its header or focus the movement grip.
- Use arrows to reposition or Home to reset.
- Keep key map targets and controls visible.
