Where are my actions, skills, saves and class features?

Everyone · Characters · Updated

Click a token you control to open its compact menu. Actions, Spells, Features, Items and Checks keep the most-used controls close to the map.

Step by step

  1. Click your token and choose the section you need.
  2. Use the section’s search field to find an action, spell, feature or item.
  3. In Spells, filter by Cantrips or spell level. In Features, filter by Class, Race or Other.
  4. For a roll, open Checks, then choose Skills, Saves or Abilities.
  5. Choose normal, advantage or disadvantage and the roll visibility, then click the appropriate check.

A check is not always an attack

Use Skills for checks such as Stealth or Arcana, Saves for saving throws, and Abilities for a straight ability check. Choosing the right type matters because proficiency and other modifiers can differ. Confirm which roll the GM wants before clicking.

Use features from the same menu

Features brings class and racial abilities together. Supported activations and resource controls appear with their entries. Wizards can find Arcane Recovery through the feature/resource controls when applicable; it is not a general button to restore every spell slot at any time.

Some features are descriptions or require a GM ruling. Being listed on the sheet does not guarantee a one-click automatic effect.

Open the full sheet when editing

The compact menu is for play. Use Sheet to reach the fuller editor and check the source of a modifier, adjust equipment or review character details. Spell damage types belong to individual actions, not a global damage selector on the token.
